Nominations Sought for 2013 Lasday Award
The “Jewish Educator of the Year” Award was established in 1993 in order to recognize outstanding Columbus Jewish educators, to raise the status of Jewish educators in our community, and to celebrate Jewish education.

Grants are available through the Jewish Education and Identity Department (JEdI) of the Columbus Jewish Federation for classes, programs, webinars, meetings, conferences or other ways that can help promote professional growth for educators.More
Nominations Sought for 2013 Interfaith Youth Dialog
The Columbus Youth Interfaith team is seeking nominations for mature, faithful 15-18 year old students from the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian communities to participate in the second annual Columbus Youth Interfaith Dialog. This will be the third year for this program where students will learn and build community through kosher dinners, games, and conversation together during the evenings of July 9-10, 2012. The group meets each night a different place of worship where they will a synagogue and a church. Following these evenings, the student will put their faith into action by serving together at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank on Thursday, July 11.
Sponsored by the Columbus Jewish Federation, Noor Islamic Cultural Center and Trinity Lutheran Seminary, the program goal is to help young people increase awareness of other faith traditions and articulate and personalize their own faith story.
